Thursday, December 3, 2015
Bringing up the tail end of the 2014 Cloverdale Christmas Parade, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus make their grand arrival. Santa will again arrive at the end of the 2015 parade, set for 1 p.m. Saturday.

With a theme of "The Songs of Christmas," the annual Cloverdale Christmas Parade is set for Saturday, Dec. 5 in downtown Cloverdale.

The festivities in Cloverdale actually begin Friday evening with free carriage rides from 5-8 p.m. People can board the carriages at Our Community Bank at the corner of Logan Street and U.S. 231.

The Christmas Parade is set to begin at 1 p.m., traveling south on U.S. 231, with several floats, the Cloverdale High School marching band and classic cars from Bent Rods.

Of course, the parade will finish with the arrival of Santa Claus, making his way along the parade route before taking a right turn for his arrival at Santa's House across from the fire station.

Pictures with Santa will be available at the house immediately following the parade.

Free cocoa and cookies provided by Brownie Troup No. 3285 and No. 1012 will be available at the Pizza Niche starting at 12:30 p.m.
