Miles Joseph Feeney

Miles "Mike" or "Mick" Joseph Feeney, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away at St. Vincent's Hospice on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015.

He was born at St. Vincent's in Indianapolis on Aug. 16, 1934 to Miles and Virginia Wyatt Feeney.

Mick served eight years in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1960.

He retired from General Motors and loved working on his cars, taking care of his house and yard. He enjoyed gardening and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sister, Genevieve Ford; daughters Diane (Mark) Ebling, Dawn Kane, Pamela (Daryl) Hogeland and Tammy Perry; foster son Clint Gibson; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by beloved partner Janice Wilson and her children, Laurie (Mike) Rohrer, Aaron (Olga) Cupp and Greg (Melanie) Wilson, 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and lifelong friends Skip and Doris Skibbee.

There will be a funeral mass Saturday at St. Malachy's Catholic Church in Brownsburg. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. with mass to follow at 12:30 p.m. Burial prayer and final words will be presented at West Ridge Park Cemetery on West 21st Street, Indianapolis.

A celebration of life will be held Jan. 9 from 1-6 p.m. at the Celebration of Life on Center Street in Plainfield.
