Gary Lee Croan

Gary Lee Croan, 51, of Fillmore, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015.

Born Nov. 17, 1964 in Boone County, he was the son of Charles and Etta (McNew) Croan and was a graduate of South Putnam High School. Gary had attended trade school receiving a degree in automotive technology.

Gary was the full time care giver for his father and had previously worked 25 years for the Department of Correction. He was a member and served as Past Master at the Larrabee Masonic Lodge of Stilesville.

He is survived by his wife, Lynore (Zuber) Croan; his children, Sigmund Croan, Kayla Croan, Isabella Croan, Chloe Croan and Aidan Croan; his father Charlie Croan; two brothers, Steve and Tommy Croan; and a great-grandson, Parker Reid Gaston.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held in celebration of Gary's life on Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 5-7 p.m. at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
