Mary Ann Capps

Mary Ann Capps, 61, Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 at the Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle.

She was born on Oct. 24, 1954 in Putnam County and was the daughter of the late Freeman A. Bryant and Osee Francis (Dickey) Bryant.

She was married to Gilbert Dale Capps on Oct. 31, 1970 and he survives. She is also survived by her children, Darlena Mae Criss and husband Don of Terre Haute, Daniel Jay Capps of Greencastle, Freeman Dale Capps and wife Tina of Greencastle, James Andrew Conway and wife Nellie of Cloverdale and John Allen Conway and wife Julie of LaFayette, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Jo Bryant and her brother, Sgt. Donald A Bryant.

She was a retired retail sales manager.

Funeral services will take place at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will take place Sunday from 3 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
