Bicentennial Flag

In unison with other locations throughout the state, county officials raise an Indiana Bicentennial Flag at noon on Friday in commemoration of the 199th anniversary of the state's founding. The flags are to fly through Dec. 11, 2016, marking the entirety of the state's 200th year. Helping courthouse custodian Mike Phillips (left) raise the flag were Commissioner David Berry and councilmen Keith Berry and Daryl Thomas. Also present for the ceremony were Commissioner Don Walton and Councilman Dave Fuhrman.
