The new Miller Asbury apartment development in the old Miller Elementary School in Greencastle is dedicated Thursday afternoon as celebrants forego a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony to ring in the new facility with a school bell. Mayor Sue Murray does the honors at the conclusion of the program after Milestone Ventures principal Chuck Heintzelman (applauding left) explained that a school typically welcomes the start of new things with the ringing of a bell. Meanwhile, the Miller Asbury project features a number of memorabilia display cases, including one (bottom left). In the northwest corner of the building, apartment 115, adorned with a holiday wreath, includes the reminder that it was also the art room of Vicky Krider (Terry) in its earlier life.
