Serving 16 families and 31 children, the 19th annual Putnam County Fraternal Order of Police Operation Santa Drop made its way around Putnam County on Monday evening. Officers taking part include (from left) Excise Police Cpl. Jerrod Baugh, Excise Police Officer Dawn Townsley, Greencastle Officer Nick Eastham, Santa, Greencastle Capt. Chris Jones, Greencastle Detective Sgt. Michael Collins, Cloverdale Chief Deputy Charlie Hallam and Greencastle Assistant Chief Brian Hopkins. The event was also a unique opportunity for the kids to receive their gifts directly from Santa.
