Robert 'Bob' William Whiteside

Robert "Bob" William Whiteside, 72, of Poland, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015.

Bob was born on Jan. 6, 1943 in Indianapolis to the late Eugene and Tilly (Tucker) Whiteside.

He was a truck driver with Universal Tool and Engineering (UTE) from 1977 until 2015.

Bob was first vice commander of the Sons of the Legion Post 58, Greencastle.

Bob is survived by his children, Tammy (Chris) Brownlee, Mike Whiteside and Christina (Steven) Reichard; his grandchildren, Kalyn (Sean) Curtis, Nicholas Brownlee and Abigail Miller; and great-grandchild Grayson Curtis.

Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of service.

A Memorial Karaoke Night in Remembrance will be on Friday, Jan. 8 at the Greencastle American Legion.

Memorial donations may be made to the family in the care of the mortuary.
