BG: What is different this year about being a senior?

MS: It's definitely the team bonding because you've been with everyone for four years now. You're definitely a get closer to your team. Also you have seniority over everyone, so that's pretty cool. Since it's coming down to the last year, you're definitely trying to push to be your best.

BG: Who are some of your biggest supporters off the court?

MS: My parents Tina Smith and Craig Smith. My sister she's always at the game and then Treyton Smith who plays on the varsity team, he's at all of our games too when he doesn't have one.

BG: Who are some of your biggest supporters off the court?

MS: My parents so Tina Smith and Craig Smith. My sister she's always at the game and then Treyton Smith who plays on the varsity team he's at all of our games too when he doesn't have one.

BG: What is your favorite thing about your teammates?

MS: With basketball, we are so close. Another big thing is that we have a new assistant basketball coach, Coach (Katie Copsey). She's younger so she is really close with all of us too. So we're close. With cheerleading I don't get to make it to many of the practices because of basketball, but we are close too. We all get along really well.

BG: Do you have any favorite memories playing at North Putnam?

MS: This is one I wrote on my senior form. But when we went to the IU game, Taylor (Nauert), Lyndi (Parent), Emilee (Henninger) and I were walking to get our seats and when we were going to find our seats on the way we went down the wrong hallway and actually ended up courtside at the IU game on accident. They were like "Oh, you can sit here." So we did that.

BG: What is the biggest difference preparing for a basketball game as opposed to dance practice or cheer practice?

MS: At cheer practice you'll practice the same thing over and over again. It's like a set routine. With basketball it's kind of this is what you should be doing but it could change with how the game is going. So it's really different. You have to switch from doing the same thing every time to it'll be changing and you have to know what to do in those events.

BG: What are your post high school plans?

MS: I'm going to go to Butler to study pre-pharmacy.
