Marion Arthur Huffman, 83, a Bainbridge area resident for more than 50 years, died Monday, Jan. 11, 2016.

Marion was born at Bainbridge on Sept. 12, 1932 to John Morris and Helen Naomi (Eggers) Huffman.

He was a 1951 graduate of Avon High School.

He married Mary Jean Call in 1956, and she survives.

Marion was a carpenter and a farmer.

He was a 50-year member of both the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and the Greencastle Masonic Lodge, as well as being a member of the Scottish Rite.

Marion served in the U.S. Navy Reserve during the Korean War.

Surviving with his wife of almost 60 years are his children, Alan (Christina) Huffman, Greencastle, Melinda Huffman, Linden, John Wayne (Donna) Huffman, Bainbridge, Steve Huffman, Clarence, Mo., Penny Handlon, Mooresville; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul M. (Stella) Huffman, Brownsburg; and a sister, Carol (Jon) Fuller, Carlisle, Pa.

Marion was preceded in death by two sisters, Maxine and Marilyn.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16 at Weaver and Randolph Funeral Home, Danville, with visitation set for 4-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15.

Burial will be in Bainbridge Cemetery.
