Twenty-five Area 30 students and five instructors will be staying overnight in Vincennes Feb. 5 and 6 to compete in the regional Skills USA competition.

During the competition, students will be required to demonstrate their knowledge and skill in written and practical portions.

The culinary arts students will also be competing at the Pro-Start competition in Indianapolis Feb. 25 and 26.

"If they place top three in the region," Director Lora Busch said, "they'll get to go on to the state competition in Indianapolis in April. If they win the state, and we have had a few state winners, they'll get to go on to the national competition in Louisville."
