The PCPL Book Group will be meeting Monday, Jan.18 to discuss Anthony Doerr's novel, "All the Light We Cannot See." Books are available for purchase for $15 at the reference desk.

Tuesday, Jan. 19

Tech Help Desk has a computer technician available to give one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices, and can help diagnose and repair computers and devices.

-- Brown Bag Talk: Alzheimer's Disease by Sydney Cason, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

"The Emperor of All Dementias: An Examination of Alzheimer's Disease."

Wednesday, Jan. 20

-- Baby Time, 10:30-11 a.m.

Sing songs, read stories, play with toys, talk, and laugh with your baby.

-- "Frozen" sing-along, 5:30 -7:30 p.m.

Watch and sing along to the sing-along version of Disney's "Frozen." Come as you are, or even better -- dressed as your favorite "Frozen" character. All ages are welcome.

Thursday, Jan. 21

-- Toddler Time, Thursday, 10-10:30 a.m.

Sing songs, hear stories and nursery rhymes, move around to music and action songs, and make a craft.

-- Community Help Desk, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Tech Help Desk has a computer technician available to give one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices, and can help diagnose and repair computers and devices.

-- Pre-K Prime Time, 11-11:45 a.m.

Hear theme-based stories, move around and sing action songs, make a craft, and have a small snack.

-- Junior Scientists, 4- 5 p.m.

Conducting simple science experiments, junior scientists will learn about the world around them, build team-work and problem solving skills, grasp scientific concepts, and most importantly, have fun satisfying their curiosity.

Friday, Jan. 22

-- Family Quiet Time in the Imagination Portal, 9 a.m.-noon.

Looking for a little quiet in the library? Enjoy the Imagination Portal without monitors, video games or music in the background.

Saturday, Jan. 23

-- Pokemon League, 1-2 p.m.

PCPL provides a safe environment for youth ages 4-14 to play with their cards each Saturday at 1 p.m.
