Richard Lee 'Dick' Fletcher Sr.

Richard Lee ("Dick") Fletcher Sr., beloved father and friend, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2016 at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center in Orange City, Fla.

Dick was born Sept. 9, 1940 in Indianapolis to Harold S. and Eleanor Fletcher.

Dick proudly served his country in the United States Navy, as a former deputy sheriff in Marion County, Ind., and in the Coast Guard Reserve.

Dick was a member of the Indiana Freemason Roachdale Lodge No. 602 and the Scottish Rite Northern Masonic Jurisdiction for 50 years.

Dick was predeceased by his parents, Harold S. and Eleanor Fletcher; his brother, Andrew (Andy) Fletcher, and his son, Richard L. Fletcher Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Ninette (John McCranie).

Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21 at Oaklawn Park Cemetery, Sanford, Fla.
