Joyce E. Ragan

Joyce E. Ragan, 70, of Greencastle, went to be with The Lord on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 at IU Health West Hospital, Avon.

She was born April 3, 1945 in Punxsutawney, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Clyde and Ruby (McCullough) Pierce.

She had worked as P.R. Mallory's for several years and retired from the Size Wise Clothing Store in Greencastle.

Survivors include her daughter, Aimee Brodnik, Greencastle; a grandson, Alexander Hayes, Avon; a granddaughter, Payton Brodnik, Indianapolis; a sister, Shirley Spencer (Donald), Fillmore; and a brother, Theodore Pierce (Rita), Greencastle; as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.

She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at New Providence Baptist Church with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Pastor Brice LeBlanc will officiate.

Burial will be at New Providence Cemetery.
