Boys WIC crossover games set

The WIC boys' basketball crossover games are set for Friday and Cloverdale (11-6, 4-1 WIC) will play for the third-place spot at West Vigo (9-7, 4-1 WIC) while Edgewood (11-6, 4-1 WIC) will be at Northview (8-7, 4-1 WIC) for the championship.

Tiebreakers are chosen by who has the biggest margins of victory in the conference games.

Greencastle (7-6. 3-2 WIC) will host Brown County 8-6, 3-2 WIC) in the seventh-place spot and North Putnam (3-13, 0-5 WIC) will visit South Putnam (1-11, 0-5 WIC) for the eleventh-place game.

West Vigo not played Cloverdale yet this regular season but the Vikings are 2-0 against Putnam County teams having beat Greencastle and South Putnam.

Brown County's matchup at McAnally with Greencastle will be a prelude to the teams' regular season game on Feb. 6. North and South Putnam also have yet to play this season as those two Putnam County rivals will square off again five days after the crossover game on Feb. 4 at South Putnam.

Owen Valley (8-8, 3-2 WIC) will play at Sullivan (6-9, 3-2 WIC) for fifth place and Cascade (3-11, 1-4 WIC) will travel to South Vermillion (4-12, 1-4 WIC) to play for ninth.
