Richard 'Casey' Jones

Richard "Casey" Jones, 77, Greencastle, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born in Owen County, and was the son of the late William Edward Jones and Mattie Ellen (Arnold) Jones.

He married Charlotte S. Montgomery on July 7, 1985, and she survives.

He is also survived by his daughters, Kathy Ravelle and Vicky Jones; his stepdaughter, Michelle Fellows; his brother, Oran E. Jones; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was retired from IBM at Greencastle and also was a farmer.

A graduate of Cloverdale High School, he was a member of the Temple Lodge 47, F & AM, Greencastle, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, Deer Creek Coon Hunters, Quail Forever, Fillmore Lions Club, Cattleman Association and Thursday Night Poker Club.

He was a former member of the South Putnam School Board.

Masonic memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of the Masonic memorial services.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Mannan Cemetery.
