Covered Bridge Harmony to hold open house

The women's barbershop chorus Covered Bridge Harmony will host an open house/guest night at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22 at the Greencastle Middle School.

The chorus hopes to bring a better understanding of their music to the community by a sing-along (or watch-along) night with a few easy songs. The group was formed in 2003 as part of the international Harmony Inc. organization. Barbershop music is an American art form that began with men singing acapella in barbershops. Covered Bridge Harmony has sung for local nursing homes and organizations as well as the Indianapolis Colts and the annual meeting of USS Indianapolis survivors.
