West Central Indiana Quail Forever chapter plans banquet Feb. 27

The annual West Central Indiana Quail Forever Banquet will take place on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with plenty of time to meet and greet friends, play games, get in on auctions and have a fun-filled night. Dinner will be catered by the Putnam Inn.

Anyone interested is invited to attend, bring a friend and enjoy a fun evening.

Tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the event or via presale at Humphreys' Outdoor Power at 950 N. Jackson St., Greencastle. Tickets are $22 for kids 12 and younger; $33 for ages 13-17 and $55 for adults or $80 for couples.

Hors d'ouevres will be served from 5:30-7 p.m., followed by dinner from 7-8:30 p.m.

West Central Indiana Quail Forever Chapter 3184 is a Conservation Group dedicated to habitat restoration for the Bobwhite Quail and other wildlife; promoter of youth programs in Putnam County, sponsoring hunts for youth, and provider of a $ 1,000 scholarship to one Putnam County High School Senior.

The group also plants native grasses and wildflowers on local public trails, private properties and help treat invasive species on private properties, all to help support the local community.
