Annual VFW Cancer Benefit set for Saturday, March 12

The VFW Auxiliary Post 1550 is hosting its fourth annual Cancer Benefit, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 12 from 5-11 p.m. at the Greencastle post, 819 S. Jackson St..

From 5-7 p.m. guests will enjoy a warm, delicious meal that includes pulled pork and all the trimmings for only $8 a plate.

Pig Pie Bingo will also begin at 5 p.m. Squares/ land can be bought beginning Feb. 29 at the VFW Post, Monday through Saturday from 5-9 p.m. The cost is $25 per square.

A live auction will take place from 7-8 p.m.

The evening will include live entertainment from 7-10 p.m. with door prizes and raffles throughout the event.

The Cancer Benefit is open to the public and 100 percent of proceeds go to the Putnam County Hospital Cancer Center.
