Local teams in top 10 of M.A.T.H. Bowl

Two Putnam County teams finished in the state top 10 of their M.A.T.H. Bowl divisions.

Tzouanakis Intermediate School placed sixth in the state in Orange Division, while Central Elementary finished seventh in the Red Division.

Central played host to 13 other schools on Thursday, Feb. 25 as part of the statewide competition sponsored by the Indiana Association of School Principals.

On the local level, Tzouanakis was the only competitor in the Orange Division.

Central won the Red Division locally, with other Putnam County schools, including Roachdale in fourth, Bainbridge in fifth and Fillmore in seventh.
