Marc Joseph Harper

Marc Joseph Harper, 63, Monrovia, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital of Mooresville.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1952 in Brazil, Ind., and was the son of John Bruce Harper and Betty Jean (Portemont) Harper.

He was married to Teresa (Bryant) Harper, and she survives.

He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Meaghan Berry; his stepsons, Dustin Berry and Weston Havey; his brothers, Tony Harper and life partner Sheri Higginbotham, and Jack Harper and wife Vonna; nieces and nephews, Charity Harper, Erica and Larry Manion, Flint Harper, Angie Harper, Shaye and Craig Patterson, Eric and Athena Harper; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and longtime friends Steve Clymer and Kevin Niewald.

He was a retired welder for Aerofab at Indianapolis.

Memorial services and visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17 from 5-7 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
