BG: What are some of the biggest differences playing on the eighth-grade team as oppose to younger years?

SS: The way our team is built together. We've been together since the fourth grade and we've stuck with it. We kept playing to 28-0. The way we've bonded not just on the court but in school as well.

BG: What has this undefeated run at Cloverdale been like?

SS: It's really cool to be able to play with the same people. It's not just some of us that has experienced this. We've all got to do it together. We want it to keep going.

BG: What's your favorite part about basketball?

SS: My favorite part is the competiveness and the competition that is in it

BG: What's is you favorite thing about your teammates?

SS: We get along really well. We are so unselfish. We play as a team, that's what has gotten us to here.

BG: You and your team have had the opportunity to play with the varsity coaching staff. What has that been like?

SS: It's awesome to have the same coaches since sixth-grade that's going to be coaching our high school team. (Matt Langdon) can tell us what he is looking for in a varsity player. He's getting us ready for the next level and helping us to get what we all want which is to get on varsity.

BG: What are you most looking forward to in high school?

SS: Playing basketball to see if this is just a middle school thing or if we can continue to be this good and keep playing.

BG: What is it like winning the tournament?

SS: It's awesome There is so much pressure. Everyone is wanting us to lose and it's awesome to be able to block out the distractions and just play the game.
