County Jail

Eight people have been booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

* At 3:20 p.m. on Monday, Amie Dawn Slevin, 33, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a warrant.

At 4:15 p.m. Harold Brock Pollett, 41, Greencastle, was arrested on a warrant.

At 4:29 p.m. Darren Keith Hudson, 46, Indianapolis, was taken into custody on a warrant.

* At 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Michael Sidney Anvoots, 27, Greencastle, was housed at the jail on a warrant.

At 5:50 p.m. Nicki Marie Davis, 29, Greencastle, was booked in on a warrant.

At 11:05 p.m. Devin Ray Willard, 27, Roachdale, was charged with residential entry.

* At 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Toni Marie O'Sullivan, 39, Reelsville, was lodged at the jail on a warrant.

* At 1:10 a.m. on Thursday, Cody Eugene Campbell, 24, Poland, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

City Police

Twenty-six recent traffic citations were issued by Greencastle city officers.

* At 3:05 a.m. Thursday, Gary Huff, 43, Russellville, was cited by Reserve Officer Jes Seipel.

Huff was stopped on Indianapolis Road and cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

* At 12:36 a.m. Thursday, James Jones, 24, Greencastle, was ticketed for speeding by Reserve Officer Seipel.

Stopped on Indianapolis Road, Jones was cited for 48 mph in a 30-mph zone.

* At 5:40 p.m. Sunday, Zachary Rolff, 20, Greencastle, was ticketed by Capt. Chris Jones.

Rolff was stopped on Indianapolis Road for a seatbelt violation.

* At 5:05 p.m. Sunday, James White, 68, Bainbridge, was ticketed by Capt. Jones.

White was stopped on Bloomington Street for an expired license plate (Dec. 7, 2015).

* At 4:51 p.m. Sunday, Angie Morales, 38, Terre Haute, was cited for speeding by Capt. Jones.

Morales was stopped on Bloomington Street for 45 mph in a 30-mph zone.

* At 4:40 p.m. Sunday, Daniel Kiel, 21, Glen Ellyn, Ill., was cited for speeding by Officer Josh Smith.

Kiel was stopped on Washington Street near Greencastle High School for 40 mph in a 20-mph zone.

* At 1:35 p.m. Sunday, Sabrina Arnold, 21, Fillmore, was ticketed for speeding by Officer Nick Eastham.

Stopped on Fillmore Road, Arnold was cited for 52 mph in a 30-mph zone.

* At 4:55 p.m. Saturday, James Jones was cited for speeding by Capt. Jones.

Stopped on South Jackson Street, driver Jones was ticketed for 40-mph in a 20-mph zone.

* At 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Joshua Possell, 21, Noblesville, was ticketed for speeding by Capt. Jones.

Possell was pulled over on State Road 240 for 59 mph in a 40-mph zone.

* At 4:10 p.m. Saturday, William Best, 76, Greencastle, was ticketed by Capt. Jones.

Best was cited for disregarding a stopsign at 19th Street and State Road 240.

* At 1:35 p.m. Saturday, Chad Rolfsen, Georgia, was cited by Capt. Jones.

Rolfsen was ticketed for disregarding a stopsign at 10th Street and State Road 240.

* At 12:10 p.m. Saturday, Jacquelyne York, 19, Greencastle, was cited by Officer Smith.

York was stopped at Hammond Drive and Washington Street for 40 mph in a 20-mph zone.

* At 12:09 p.m. Saturday, two occupants of a vehicle were cited for seatbelt violations.

Stopped on Percy Julian Drive, Tyler Crail, 17, Roachdale, and Dakota Wood, 19, Roachdale, were ticketed by Capt. Jones.

* At 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Brandon Pawelczyk, 26, Fillmore, was cited for speeding by Capt. Jones.

Stopped on State Road 240, Pawelczyk was ticketed for 55 mph in a 40-mph zone.

* At 10 a.m. Saturday, Kelly Nott, 50, Reelsville, was cited by Capt. Jones.

Nott was stopped on South Jackson Street for having no license in her possession.

* At 9:50 p.m. Friday, March 25, William Spears, 32, Roachdale, was cited by Officer Brad Hiatt.

Stopped at College Avenue and Franklin Street, Spears was cited for driving with a suspended license.

* At 5:38 p.m. Friday, March 25, Corinna Price, 38, Cloverdale, was ticketed by Capt. Jones.

Price was cited for disregarding a stopsign at 10th Street and State Road 240

* At 3:49 p.m. Friday, March 25, two occupants of a vehicle were cited for seatbelt violations.

Stopped on South Jackson Street, David Galloway, 53, Greencastle, and Terri Siscoe, 50, Gosport, were ticketed by Capt. Jones.

* At 1:55 p.m. Friday, March 25, Elizabeth Crowder, 20, Brazil, was cited by Capt. Jones.

Crowder was ticketed on South Jackson Street for 44 mph in a 30-mph zone.

* At 1 p.m. Friday, March 25, Kodey Spears, 26, North Vernon, cited by Capt. Jones.

Spears was ticketed on South Jackson Street for having no license in his possession.

* At 7:47 a.m. Friday, March 25, Dixie Huey, 32, Danville, was ticketed by Capt. Jones.

Huey was cited on Percy Julian Drive for 35 mph in a 20-mph.

* At 9:20 p.m. March 24, Jordan Shoulders, 18, Clayton, was ticketed by Reserve Officer Cameron Paul.

Shoulders was cited for 46 mph in a 20-mph zone on Bloomington Street.

* At 11:08 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, Joseph Zaborski, 21, Greencastle, was ticketed for speeding by Reserve Officer Billy Wallace.

Stopped on Veterans Memorial Highway, Zaborski was cited for 70 mph in 40-mph zone.

* At 2:25 p.m. March 22, Danielle Querry, 26, Greencastle, was cited for speeding by Officer Smith.

Query was ticketed for 48 mph in a 20-mph zone at Percy Julian Drive and Avenue D.

Sheriff's Department

Putnam County sheriff's deputies have responded to one recent crash.

* At 8:35 a.m. on Monday, Christina Shaw, 19, Greencastle, was northbound on Oak Ridge Road, approaching County Road 100 North in a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta.

Shaw told Deputy Virgil Lanning she saw a large spider in the vehicle and took her eyes off the road.

The car left the road and hit a fence.

Damage was estimated at $1,001-$2,500. Shaw drove the car from the scene with minimal damage.
