Daniel Raymond Nickerson

Daniel Raymond Nickerson, 60, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

Born July 27, 1955 in Greencastle, he was the son of Ronald Wayne and Shirley Ann (Parker) Nickerson.

He was a 1974 graduate of Cloverdale High School.

Daniel was a United States Air Force veteran, having served overseas.

He had worked in construction and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish and hunt, especially mushrooms.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Nickerson; sons Ryan Nickerson and Jeremiah Nickerson; sisters Becki Patterson, Vera Cline and Linda Clingan; a brother, Robbie Nickerson; and two granddaughters, Addyson and Brooklyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, has been entrusted with arrangements.
