Candidates Forum set for April 20 at DPU Media Center

The Greencastle League of Women Voters, WGRE Radio and the Banner-Graphic are co-sponsoring a Candidates Forum for the Greencastle/Putnam County community.

It will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 at Watson Forum in the Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media on the DePauw University campus (located at the southeast corner of Locust and Elm sreets).

The forum will also be broadcast live over WGRE radio and on Greencastle's cable access Channel 3.

The event will feature candidates running for Putnam County commissioner, District 3, and Indiana State Senate, District 24.

Candidates who have confirmed they will be in attendance at the forum are Pete Miller and John Crane, Republican candidates for State Senate, and Mike Clark, Republican candidate for county commissioner.

Incumbent commissioner Don Walton has a prior commitment and will not attend.

At the conclusion of the forum audience members will be allowed to ask questions of the candidates. Refreshments will be served.
