BG: What is different this year being a senior?
Alex Lesko: Well this year I'm varsity and the other years I was JV. People are a lot better at the varsity level than at JV. So it's been a new learning process.
BG: What is your favorite thing about your teammates.
AL: They're a great group. They are very talkative. Sometimes that's good, sometimes it's not. They all have a good attitude.
BG:What is coach Briones like?
AL: He's always there to tell you what you need to work on. He's always there to help you.
BG: What is your favorite thing about tennis?
AL: I love being around the people and teammates but I love the matches the most.
BG: What kinds of things do you do in the FCCLA?
AL: Basically we do a bunch of community service. A lot of my friends were in it so I joined.
BG: What is it like managing on the swim team?
AL: It is fun. They are another great group of people. They always have a positive attitude so they are great to be around.
BG: Do you have any favorite memories playing at South Putnam?
AL: Just the thought that coaches are there for you. I really love the water fights at the end of the year. We have all these balls of water and we dump them on each other. It's a great thing to do at the end of the year because it's really hot at the end the season.
BG: What are your post high school plans?
AL: I plan to go to Olivet College and I am hoping to play tennis there. I wan to study pre-med. I just like the thought of saving and helping people.
