Greencastle City Police officers made four recent arrests.
* At 5:57 a.m. Tuesday, Jason Rivers, 38, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Brad Hiatt at the 24/7 Laundromat on North Jackson Street.
Rivers, who was lodged in the Putnam County Jail, is being held on charges of criminal trespassing and unlawful possession of a syringe.
* At 9:18 p.m. Saturday, Adrian Fisher, 25, Fillmore, was arrested by Officer Zach Rhine at the Speedway gas station at Indianapolis and Round Barn roads.
Lodged in the Putnam County Jail, Fisher is being held on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (with a blood-alcohol content level of .260 percent), possession of marijuana and operating a vehicle while being a habitual traffic offender.
* At 2:43 p.m. Friday, two people were arrested in a reported shoplifting incident at the Dollar General store on North Jackson Street.
Jennifer Keller, 31, Greencastle, was charged with theft for allegedly taking L.A. Colors lip gloss, which she reportedly concealed in her pocket, and three purple Glade candle melts, which she reportedly concealed in her boots.
Total value of the items was listed in Officer Kyle Lee's report at $14.39.
Charged with criminal mischief at the same time, police said, was Stephen Bridges, 34, Greencastle, who reportedly opened and damaged packaging and products in the store.
Meanwhile, in an incident reported at 2:22 a.m. Saturday, four teenagers are facing charges of being minors in consumption of alcohol after a traffic stop by Officer Elsiana Crosby at Locust and Hanna streets.
To be summoned into court on the alcohol charges are:
-- Adam Hartman, 19, Carmel, who refused portable breathalyzer testing (PBT).
-- Jane Alm, 19, Riverside, Ill., who registered .159 percent blood-alcohol content under PBT testing.
-- Raye Robinson, 19, Indianapolis, who registered .128 percent blood-alcohol content under PBT testing.
-- Eleanor Rauh, 18, River Forest, Ill., who registered .061 percent blood-alcohol content under PBT testing.
The driver of the car had not consumed any alcohol, police noted.
One recent accident was investigated by Greencastle officers.
* At 1:23 p.m. Saturday, a car-bicycle accident was reported on Houck Road near Albin Pond Road.
Sgt. Ed Wilson reported that Brandon Albright, 29, Greencastle, was northbound on Houck Road when a seven-year-old boy reportedly rode his bicycle out of the Northview Apartments parking lot into the car's path.
Witnesses confirmed Albright could not stop his 2015 Chevrolet Impala in time to avoid striking the bicycle.
The boy was taken to Putnam County Hospital via Operation Life ambulance with left leg and knee abrasions.
Property damage was listed at $1,000-$2,500 in the mishap.
One recent traffic citation was issued by GPD Officer Nick Eastham.
* At 11:54 a.m. Monday, Eastham ticketed Lexie Williams, 19, Brazil, on Fillmore Road.
Williams was cited for having no valid operator's license.
