Hospital Guild donates $10,000 to benefit PCH Specialty Clinic space

The Putnam County Hospital Guild's annual Spring Luncheon at PCH featured guest speaker, Dr. Rao, a leading cardiologist from PCH and St. Francis Health Cardiology Clinic.

During the Tuesday, April 25 luncheon, Hospital Guild members were also recognized for their volunteer hours.

Guild members honored for their dedicated hours of volunteering were:

1,250 hours -- Jackie Sutherlin.

1,000 hours -- Joanne Allee, Phyllis Evens and Ella Marie Torr.

500 hours -- Valerie Lyons.

250 hours -- Roberta Hinkle and Ruth Schroeder.

100 hours -- Susan Franz, Betty Lancaster and Charlene Peterson.

The luncheon concluded with a check presentation to Putnam County Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dennis Weatherford. The Guild donated $10,000 toward the purchasing of new lobby furniture for the newly renovated third-floor Specialty Clinic, opening in July.
