Jennalee Butts

Jennalee Butts, 75, of Greencastle, peacefully passed away at her favorite spot, home, on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

Born Aug. 5, 1940 in Vigo County, she was the daughter of LeRoy O. and Inez H. (Carlin) Moore.

She was a 1958 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Jenny was co-owner and operator of Steve's Enterprises and wrecker service. Along with her sisters, she owned and operated Moore's Bar for several years.

Jenny is survived by her husband, Steve Butts, whom she married on Dec. 31, 1977; her daughters, Natalie (John) Rose and Kimberly O'Hair; stepson Lt Commander retired Robert S. (Ginger) Butts; sister Carolyn (Alan) Hammond; grandchildren Jason Wager, Daniel (Megan) Wager, Rusty Heck, Dr. Carly (Bob) Mangus, Mitchell Rose and Rebecca Rose; and great-grandchildren, Chase and Heidi Wager.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Leisa Wager; beloved sister, Lois Steele, and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 16 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. on Monday until time of service at the funeral home.
