North Putnam Alumni group wins 'Give Local Day' event

The Putnam County Community Foundation has announced the winner of the 2016 Give Local Putnam County Day event conducted Tuesday, May 3.

The North Putnam Alumni Association will receive an additional $500 to use immediately or place in its endowment fund.

"We are so excited to have won this year, after participating last year," Alumni Association President Larry Tippin said. "What an incredible opportunity to support our North Putnam Alumni Association School Support Endowment. We want to thank all of our generous alumni and friends for their active participation. We love that Cougar Pride."

Other participants in Give Local this year were AgrIInstitute, Cloverdale Community Eyecare Endowment and Bainbridge High School Alumni Scholarship.
