Rogers told Deputy Houghton a bee flew in his window, causing him to take his eyes off the road and drive left of center. The vehicle continued off the road, where it hit a telephone pole.

Tisdale said she then honked her horn and swerved, but Dirocco's vehicle hit the right front of her car. Her car then left the road and entered a ditch, hitting a fence.

Tisdale was trapped in her car due to the fence and complained of chest pain.

Greencastle firefighters extricated Tisdale. She was then taken to Putnam County Hospital by Operation Life ambulance.

The vehicle came to rest against a fence.

After an investigation by Harrington and Deputy Matt Biggs, Conway was arrested and taken to Putnam County Jail. He was booked in at 11:04 p.m. driving while intoxicated/refusal and being a minor in consumption of alcohol.
