Gleaners senior food giveaway returns to Armory

The Gleaners Senior Mobile Pantry will return to Greencastle on Thursday, June 9 at the Greencastle National Guard Armory

The food giveaway for seniors age 55 and older will be conducted from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday.

Participants are asked not to arrive before 9:30 a.m.

The event is returning to the Armory after several months at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

Besides being 55 and older, participants must also be Putnam County residents to participate in the food giveaway.

Those taking part should bring their own sacks or boxes and provide identification to verify their eligibility.

Gleaners conducts the senior food giveaway on the second Thursday of each month in Greencastle.
