Bainbridge Alumni Banquet set June 25

BAINBRIDGE -- The 102nd annual Bainbridge High School (BHS) Alumni Association banquet is set for Saturday, June 25 in the Bainbridge Community Building.

The welcome hour will begin at 5 p.m. with a buffet dinner following at 6:30.

The program will include recognition of the second annual Bainbridge High School Alumni Scholarship winner and entertainment by a local musician.

Lauren Johnston, a recent North Putnam High School graduate and daughter of Rick and Cammie Johnston, won the scholarship.

Entertainment will be by Larry Miller of Clinton Falls, a 1963 graduate of Bainbridge High School who will sing and play his guitar.

Classes to be honored at the banquet are: 1941 (75 years since graduation), 1946 (70 years), 1956 (60 years) and 1966 (50 years).

Class speakers scheduled to make responses are Bill Lukenbill of Brownsburg for the 1946 class and Margaret Tippin Kessinger of rural Greencastle for the 1956 class and Dick Evens of Maumee, Ohio, who will speak for the 50-year class of 1966.

All alumni are welcome to bring guests, and anyone who attended BHS or has an interest in the school is welcome to attend.
