BRAZIL -- The Brazil Concert will present "Hoosier Band: Happy Father's Day" on Sunday, June 19 at 8 p.m. in the Forest Park pavilion rain or shine.

Director Matthew S. Huber and the BCB will offer dad a wide variety of new music and concert classics.

Two classy ragtime pieces are King's "The Walking Frog" and "Some Band Rag" by Indiana's March King Fred Jewell.

Hoosier classic "Star Dust" by Hoagy Carmichael shows off several variations of this Indiana gem.

New to the BCB is "Mars" from "The Planets" by Englishman Gustav Holst in a setting by Jay Bocook.

Henry Mancini wrote great movie music, including this march, new for the BCB, from the aviation movie "The Great Waldo Pepper" arranged by John Moss.

Arranger Bill Holcombe's "Looney Tunes Overture" is also a new one for the BCB and features "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down," "Merrily We Roll Along" and "This Is It!" from those Warner Bros. cartoons.

From the pen of John Philip Sousa comes "Grand Promenade at the White House" and two recently released marches, courtesy of the U.S. Marine Band, "Review" from 1873 and "Recognition" from 1879.
