Putnamville UMC plans annual ice cream social

The Putnamville United Methodist Church annual ice cream social is planned for noon-3 p.m. on Sunday, June 26.

The public is invited to enjoy ice cream, ham sandwiches, homemade pie and cake and other food for a free will offering.

Christian music will begin at 12:30 p.m.

The United Methodist women will have homemade baked goods and candy for sale.

The church will also be accepting donations for the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry.

The church and the Putnamville Museum will be open. In the event of rain the social will be inside the church.

The historic brick church and museum are located at the intersection of U.S. 40 and State Road 243.
