USA Volleyball to host free Friday clinic locally

DePauw is serving as the host of the USA Volleyball College National Team training camp this week.

On Friday, the USA program is hosting a free volleyball clinic for K-12 girls from 3-4 p.m. in Neal Fieldhouse, with registration beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the lobby.

All participants must complete a waiver, and those under age 18 will need a parent/guardian signature.

Later in the evening, there will be a free scrimmage open to the public from 7-9 p.m. in Neal Fieldhouse.

A short autograph session will immediately follow.

"We hope you will have the opportunity to see some of USA's best volleyball talent on Friday," said Stevie Baker-Watson, DePauw's Associate Vice President for Campus Wellness. "You may even get to see an Olympian in the making."
