Strawberry Fest 2016 scheduled for July 1 at PCH, First Friday

Putnam County Hospital, Mill Pond Health Campus and The Waters of Greencastle are joining forces for a sweet celebration.

Strawberry Fest 2016 will be Friday, July 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the north parking lot of the Putnam County Hospital campus.

The community can enjoy strawberry shortcake for $5. Delivery is available for orders of 10 or more. Simply place an order by contacting Brooke at Mill Pond Health Campus at 720-4706.

The celebration continues from 6-8 p.m. with Shortcakes on the Square during First Friday. Make an extra donation, and you can dunk a deputy, as well.

All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.
