Motorcycle ride to benefit Greencastle Police Dept.

The American Legion Riders will be hosting a motorcycle ride, dinner and K9 demonstration July 9 at the Greencastle American Legion Post No. 58 on 1401 Indianapolis Rd. to benefit the Greencastle Police Department.

All proceeds will be used to purchase a K9 and all necessary training and equipment. Admission is $25 for the rider and $5 for a passenger. Registration will begin at 9 a.m., and kickstands will go up at 11 a.m.

The route will include Crawfordsville, Rockville and Brazil, with the ride ending back at the Legion where a dinner will be provided. Local K9 handlers will also present a demonstration.
