Lola Colleen Green Fly

Lola Colleen Green Fly, 72, of McCordsville, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.

She was born on Nov. 19, 1943 at Clinton Falls in Putnam County to William Herman and Lola Ruby Taylor Green.

She graduated from Washington High School in Indianapolis in 1961.

She was a caregiver and retired from Damar Services with more than 15 years of services.

Lola was very religious and loved spending time with her family, watching old movies and reading Stephen King novels.

Her children, Matthew Fly of Wichita, Kan., Faith Fly of McCordsville, and Andrew Fly of Indianapolis; grandchildren Tiffani, Ashlee, Abigael, Rebekka, David and great-granddaughter Scarlett survive her along with her siblings, Neil (Leora) Green, Norma Martin, Kathy Blau and Barbara (Dennis) Ross, and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents and 11 siblings preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, July 9 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon.

Pastor Cullen Reed will officiate and burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery.
