Kroger aids GPD K-9 fund

Courtesy photo Last weekend Kroger hosted a cookout with all proceeds going to the Greencastle Police Department's effort to purchase a police K-9. The cookout raised $2,030, putting a large dent in the $13,000 needed to purchase, train and equip the K-9. This weekend the GPD and Greencastle American Legion will be having a benefit ride Saturday at the Legion. If you have questions about the ride or would like to make a donation, contact the GPD and ask to speak with Officer Kyle Lee. The GPD would like to thank Kroger and its staff for their support.
