Monrovia man, 22, dies in State Road 42 accident

MONROVIA -- A 22-year-old Monrovia man was fatally injured in an accident early Sunday along State Road 42 in Morgan County.

Tevin M. Bode was killed in a traffic accident that occurred at 1529 E. State Road 42, southwest of Mooresville, shortly after 8 a.m.

Bode's body was found by rescue workers who had been called to the scene on the report of a vehicle in a pond. His lifeless body was found near the water.

Authorities reported that Bode was ejected from the vehicle as it flipped several times before going into the pond.

After first-responders determined that no one was in the partially submerged vehicle, they began searching the immediate area around the pond, discovering Bode's body a short time later.
