George E. Pallas

George E. Pallas, 73, Coatesville, passed away Friday morning, July 15, 2016 at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle.

He was born in Bridgeport, Ct., on May 5, 1943, the son of John and Mary Kerilla Pallas.

He had received his Master's Degree in engineering and had worked for Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford, Ct., for 46 years.

He was a member of Christ Chapel in Connecticut and attended Canaan Community Church, Coatesville.

He was a member of the Masons.

He is survived by his wife, Kitzie Lisby Pallas; sons Aaron (Cherida) Pallas, Indianapolis, and Doug (Michelle) Pallas, Wallingford, Ct.; six grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Fitzgerald, Connecticut.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19 at Canaan Community Church with Pastor Kevin Thompson officiating.

Burial will follow in Fillmore Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Contributions may be made to Canaan Community Church for restoration of the old sanctuary or the Leukemia Society.
