The final ParkFest date of 2016 is Tuesday at Robe-Ann Park in Greencastle with the bill featuring local favorite Mike Van Rensselaer as well as Bloomington-based Lexi Len and the Strangers.

The 6:30-8 p.m. show takes place in the Bob Flanigan bandshell with food for sale from Anthony's New York Style Pizzeria.

Additionally, the final 2016 date of the annual concert series present by the Greencastle Civic League will be family night. It will feature multiple bounce houses, snow cones and popcorn.

Van Rensselaer will once again highlight his ParkFest performance by inviting children to come to the front of the bandshell to join him in singing a song.

"It's Family Night," he said, "a great opportunity for parents to bring their children to the park so they can have fun on the playground equipment, frolic in the Big Bounce House and be a part of the concert."

The veteran Parkfest performer will bring his banjo and guitar picking, singing and storytelling to entertain audience members of all ages.

He plans on commemorating Indiana's 200th birthday, paying tribute to Putnam County and revisiting songs he used that promoted kindness and respect in his students during his 37-year teaching career at Greencastle Middle School.

Lexi Len began playing shows at eight years old when she would step up at her daddy's shows and proceed to break hearts in the house.

Now she picks with an outfit of Bloomington's finest seasoned musicians. Mark Minnick locks down the drums and Ryan Payton rocks the bass. Jason Payton pulls big tones from his guitars and the sound is rounded out by Matt Lundquist on pedal steel.
