A Fun Night Out

Utilizing dozens of community partners such as Beyond Homeless, National Night Out brought an estimated 1,400 people to Robe-Ann Park Tuesday as children received free book bags filled with supplies, families received information from a number of community and emergency agencies and enjoyed plenty of free food. "Turnout was awesome," National Night Out co-coordinator Linda Merkel said. "The people were wonderful. We're grateful to everybody who was able to participate."
