Banner Graphic/ ERIC BERNSEE Scorpion Protective Coatings and Scorpion Window Film CEO Clayton Tomasino presents a $4,500 check to the Putnam County United Way, represented by UW Vice President Nancy Michael. Scorpion recently celebrated its fifth annual Customer Appreciation Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Brickyard 400. The Putnam County company entertained customers from all around the United States and Canada. Scorpion conducted a silent auction in its suite, and with help from NASCAR star Austin Dillon and Richard Childress Racing, was able to raise $4,500. Scorpion also acknowledged Jeff Van Horn of Van Horn Tint and Accessories, Austin Cravens of RCR and Matt Krysenski of RCR and NASCAR driver Cole Whitt and RTIC Coolers. Scorpion is celebrating its 20th year in business this month as the worldwide leader in bed liner and window film. United Way's Michaels noted that Tomasino is a recent addition to the agency's board and has already "shown commitment to education and the community."
