Fair Board seeks nominations for 14 director positions

Residents wanting to get involved with the Putnam County Fair Board will have the chance in the coming days.

Nominations are sought for director positions two-year terms in Cloverdale, Franklin, Jackson, Madison, Marion and Warren townships. Additionally, eight one-year at-large director positions are up for election.

Nominations will be taken through Aug. 20.

Anyone with interest in serving on the Fair Board may call 721-3414 or 720-0262.

Elections will take place during the Putnam County Fair Board annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 at the Fairgrounds Community Building. The event will also feature a pitch-in dinner, some other business and awards.

All are welcome and annual dues of $1 are due at door.

After closing of the ballot, all nominees will be published in the Banner Graphic and on Facebook.
