Ingram, Huntington crowned Mr. and Ms. Unstoppable 2016

Putnam County Comprehensive Service staged its second annual Mr. and Ms. Unstoppable Pageant Aug. 6 in Thompson Recital Hall at DePauw University with eight women and three men vying for the titles of Mr. and Ms. Unstoppable.

Contestants from last year chose the name of the pageant because, "We want everyone to believe that nothing but themselves can stop them achieving their goals and dreams. Everyone is unstoppable if they set their mind to believe anything is possible," PCCS Executive Director Andrew Ranck said.

The Ms. Unstoppable contestants were Maria Pineda, Mary Pryor, Dee Wells, Jessica Cole, Robin Byrd, Erin Hilton, Janet Spurling and Cass Huntington, while Jarred Holmes, John Thomas and Anthony Ingram competed for Mr. Unstoppable.

Escorts for the ladies were Steven Rohrbaugh, Matthew Lanz, Greg Adams, Donnie Shillings and Sam Vaughn.

The contestants competed in poise and formal wear, talent and question-and-answer segments which scored by local judges Meghan Armitage, Lisa Barker and Karly Bumgardner.

PCCS staff Mary Ann Finney coordinated the event, while Executive Director Ranck was the emcee.

Music was provided by Anthony Ingram DJ Service and photography was donated by Aaron J. Swartz Photography.

Local merchants and individuals donated cash and prizes for all of the contestants, so that no one left empty handed regardless of the outcome.
