VINCENT AGUIRRE of Greencastle has been accepted as a member of the 2016-2017 Emerging Leaders Project.

Created and operated by volunteers, the Emerging Leaders Project is a free, year-long leadership development and networking program designed for young leaders who have an interest in running for office or working on campaigns.

Aguirre currently serves as Founder and President of 25/7 Consulting, a company focused on delivering consulting, mentoring, and technical expertise to small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout Putnam County and nationally.

Since its founding in 2015, 25/7 Consulting has become the largest locally owned hosting and web design company in the Putnam County area.

Before founding 25/7 Consulting, Aguirre was also a co-founder of WynWay Technologies, a company committed to helping communities use technology more effectively.

In this, the fifth year of the program, nearly 100 leaders from around the state applied for one of the available slots in this year's class.

A selection committee made up of past participants and party activists met to review the applications and make final selections.
