Champion Color Guard

The Putnam County 4-H Horse and Pony Club color guard team recently won first place at the Indiana State Fair competition. The team is in its ninth year of competition and is composed of Alyssa Brown, Mary Bousman, Boston Campbell, Sara Clark, Cheyenne Leatherwood, Kyley Pelfrey, Ryan Phillips and Kaitlyn York in 2016. Karen Phillips coaches the team. Following the win, the team traveled to the Hoosier Horse Fair, spending the weekend doing demonstrations.
