Harold B. Phillips, 77, of Rockville, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016 at his residence.

Born Feb. 2, 1939 in Trammel, Va., he was the son of James Willie Phillips and Dosha Ernestine Green

He married Vivian Bohnhoff on June 20, 1987 in Dietrich, Ill., and she survives.

He was a driver for Yellow Freight, logging three million miles of accident-free driving.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

In addition to his wife, Vivian Phillips, Rockville, he is survived by a daughter, Marla O'Donnell, Bend, Ore.; two sons, Clint Feldhake (Stacy), Rockville, and Victor Phillips (Danielle), Redmond, Ore.; three granddaughters, Braelynn Feldhake, Rockville, Jontiel Meyer, Bend, Ore., and Bailey Phillips, Redmond, Ore.; three grandsons, Colvin Feldhake, Rockville, Jordan Meyer, Carson City, Nev., and Cody Meyer, Louisiana; one great-grandson, Jesse Meyer, Carson City, Nev.; one great-granddaughter, Alissa Meyer, Carson City, Nev.; and two brothers, Emerson Phillips, Greencastle, and Earl Phillips, Terre Haute.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bob Phillips.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30 at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 E. High St., Rockville, with Rev. Larry Phillips officiating.

Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Beacon Hill Cemetery, U.S. 41 South, Rockville, with graveside military rites performed by Parke County veterans.
